Introduction to Dynamic Shotgun Training

Saturday, November 8, 2025

Crumlin Sportsmen’s Association is pleased to offer you a new Introduction to Dynamic Shotgun course.  This one-day, highly interactive course will introduce you to safe and practical shotgun shooting.  You will build a solid foundation of safety, knowledge, and skills to enhance your capacity as a shotgun sport shooter.

Course Objectives:

This course provides students with theory, and basic knowledge and skills necessary to safely handle, load, fire and unload pump action or semi-auto shotguns.  Students will be guided through various shotgun types and equipment functionality options, with explanations and demonstrations of the capabilities, and the pros and cons of each will be covered.

You will be engaged in both classroom and on-range format in a safe and relaxed learning environment.  Students will be guided through an overview of club rules, safe shotgun handling procedures, target engagement, and dry-fire and live-fire exercises/drills to increase shooter comfort level and develop a solid skill base.

Who Should Attend?

This course is available to Crumlin members, and is ideal for anyone new to shotgun shooting, or those with minimal experience in shotgun shooting.  This course is limited to the first 12 Crumlin members who register and pay to attend.

Who Are the Instructors?

The Instructional Team consists of current/active, and retired Law Enforcement and Military personnel, and experienced Action/Sport shooters.  The Team has over 85 years of combined Police and Military firearms training and action shooting competition experience. Your instructors are also passionate about safety, hunting, sport, and action shooting disciplines, including Multi-Gun, IPSC, IDPA, PPC, and PRS.

.

When and where is the training?

Meet at the Clubhouse at 8:30 am.

What is the cost?
