Crumlin Schedule & Events

The ranges at Crumlin, with the few exceptions noted below, are open from 10:00 AM to Sunset everyday. Click here to see today's sunset times.
Archery is open Sunrise to Sunset.
Ranges 2, 3, and 5A have lights and may operate after sunset during regularly scheduled section times.

Special events and range closures can be viewed in the calendar by clicking the month and date. Clicking on a listed event below the calendar will provide additional information.

Regularly scheduled section times are listed below. Please note that section time may close earlier than scheduled if participation level dwindles or if weather is not conducive to shooting. Plan to attend closer to the beginning of the scheduled time rather than toward the end of the scheduled time to avoid disappointment from an early closing.

Monday: 
Range 1    PPC (1st, 2nd, 3rd Mondays) 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Range 1    PPC in Action/IDPA (4th Monday) 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Range 3    Black Powder Skeet + Skeet Doubles 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Tuesday:
Range 1    Bullseye 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Range 3    Senior Skeet 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Range 3    Skeet & 5 Stand 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Wednesday:
Range 1    Air Pistol/Rifle 1:00 to 3:00 pm
Range 1    Closed for cleaning 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (no booking)
Range 2    Trap 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Range 3    Retiree Skeet 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Range 6    Black Powder 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (no booking)

Thursday:
Range 1     Old Farts League (discipline varies by week) 10:00 am to Noon
Range 1     Open Handgun shooting 7:00 pm to 9:0 pm.
                  Be there for 7:00 pm, RO will leave at 7:30 if no one present.
Range 2     Senior Trap 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Range 5A   New HG Shooters with RO 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

April 23th Events

Bullseye Match, at 6:15 PM until 8:00 PM

BULLSEYE" PISTOL 

Also known as precision target shooting, this sport rewards those who deliver the most shots closest to the very center of the target. Since this discipline hones the most fundamental skills, it is ideal for the novice and expert shooter alike. 

The basics:

  • A match is either Rimfire or Centrefire.
  • You must shoot with one hand only
  • 10 shots are fired at each target in two strings of 5 shots each.
  • The X, inside the 10 ring, is the highest shot possible. 
  • A perfect target, with a score of 100 (10 shots in the 10 ring), is called a possible
  • Matches have stages, each with a distinct course of fire.
  • There is the Slow Fire stage, Timed Fire Stage and the Rapid Fire stage

Skeet and 5-Stand - Tuesday Evening, at 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM

Lights on the fields permit after dark shooting.
Both fields are typically open during the warmer seasons (duration subject to weather and participant numbers).
During cooler seasons, 5-stand may not open if attendance is low.

#9 SHOT IS MANDATORY
