This club is private property. Club members and invited guests only.

Guests must be accompanied by a club member at all times.

Guests must "sign in and sign out" in the guest book for each visit.

All Members and Guests of Crumlin must obey all Federal and Provincial laws in addition to the rules as set out by the Board of Governors.

Shoot only on OPEN ranges.

A range officer shall be present or appointed at each active range.

All firearms to be unloaded and open actions at all times.

Shooters to maintain muzzle control in a safe direction at all times.

All new shooters to a particular discipline, shall advise the range officer of that fact.

Whenever a "Cease fire" is called on any range, all participants must immediately unload and make their firearm safe and step away from the firing line.

Clean up all debris and place in appropriate garbage containers.

Shoot at only approved targets in an approved manner.

All targets are to be posted so that the bullets will hit the rear berm below the mid point. If that does not happen, or cannot happen, then the target has been posted improperly. Bullets SHALL NOT HIT THE WALLS or THE GROUND in front of berm.

Do not climb berms or walls.

All accidents must be reported and documented by filling out an accident report and notifying a board member.

After a misfire or a hang-fire, the action must remain closed for a minimum of 60 seconds with the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.

When accessing rear ranges, vehicles are to stop and proceed only when safe to do so, or when waved on by Skeet and Trap squads.

Do not throw live rounds or mis-fired shells into the garbage containers or on the club grounds.

Shooters are responsible for the safe storage and transport of their firearms and ammunition. The Crumlin Sportsmen's Association cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of personal articles.

The front gate shall be locked by the last member out of the club. If any doubt, lock gate as all members have combination to gate.

Violation of safety rules may result in disciplinary action by the Board of Directors up to and including forfeiture of membership.

Use correct ammunition.

If your gun fails to fire when the trigger is pulled, HANDLE WITH CARE.
Keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction and get adult help.

Always wear eye and ear protection when shooting.

Be sure the barrel is clear of obstructions before shooting.

Don't alter or modify your gun, and DO have your gun serviced regularly.

Learn the mechanical and handling characteristics of the firearm you are using. Do not use any firearm that you have not had adult instruction in handling.
